Good afternoon everyone!

I am the first leader this week so here is the plan.

Monday - Friday meet as usual 6:30 in the park,

Mon - 4 mile recovery run plus usual improvers and C25K

Tue - Pace / Intensity training with Barry leading ( This is for all abilities)

The type of training we will be doing will benefit ALL runners, no matter how fast or slow you are, lets have you all out there, it is hard but very rewarding.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO TIME YOURSELF, ACCURATE TIMING IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS TYPE OF TRAINING.

Wed - reverse 4 mile route
or the option of a 10k run doing the Spitfire run at Hornchurch Country park at 7pm ( let Tracy know if you want to do)

Thur - Boot Camp with the Beast Bryn (again this is for all abilities and is more fun than it sounds)

Fri - The weekend starts here with the usual "4 mile Jog 'n' Grog"
for those doing Spitfire a 9pm .... running the Spitfire route in Hornchurch Country park ( let Tracy know if you want to do)

Sat - Park Run at Raphael Park 9:00 Start

4pm: a 10k walk doing the Spitfire route in Hornchurch Country park ( let Tracy know if you want to do)

Sun - 8am meet at Harold Wood Park various distances tbc
A number of members are taking part in the Newham 10 km run at the Olympic park

Whatever your training during the week please be careful of the heat, sunshine and Mosquitoes! Go well prepared for conditions and enjoy it!

Weekly Schedule

We meet at 6.30pm Monday to Friday at Harold Wood Park.
Various distances 5k to 7k.
Couch 2 5K programmes as well.


Saturdays 9am at Raphael’s Park for ParkRun.


Sundays 8am at Harold Wood Park for longer runs. (7 to 10miles)
