The more experienced you become at running the better you understand your bodies needs to adapt to enhancing your running abilities. As a club our main goal, along with England Athletics , is to make your running an enjoyable experience so that running becomes an integral part of your life.
I have 35 years running experience and my PB in the marathon is 3:01 hours (Southend). I am registered as a coach with England Athletics and also a qualified weight training instructor (NABBA). All of the leaders and committee do so on an entirely voluntary basis so that we can deliver to you a well organised and friendly club.
Can you ensure that you wear hi vis clothing, flashing lights so that you are visible to road users and pedestrians.

Monday Easy Run 4.5 miles Parkstone
Tuesday Repetition training for all levels. This training should achieve desired physiological adaptations, minimise the risk of injury and not inhibit subsequent training sessions.
Wednesday Tempo run 4.5 miles Parkstone
Thursday Harold Hill Hilly 5 . remember hills are your friends !!
Friday Jog and grog
Saturday Parkrun . Several people going to Harrow Lodge Saturday for the Havering Mind charity, the themed is Jurassicpark (run) and they want people to dress up as dinosaurs – hence why our Club is attending 😊
Sunday A few of our members are at Mo 10k run at Greenwich . A few are on the Bury St Edmonds Christmas market trip.
Long easy run 7/10 mile , there will be somebody there who will run with you .
